MOKAPU PENINSULA - MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII

The scene is an aerial panorama of the windward side of Oahu -- from Makapu'u and Waimanalo to Kailua, Kaneohe and Kualoa Ranch. Seated in the middle of the scene is the historic Mokapu Peninsula and the site of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Kaneohe. Ulupa'u Crater sits like a backwards Diamond Head at the tip and this shot was taken many miles away and zoomed in! It's from June 2022. It is a panorama that carries a lot of meaning for the windward side.
